A DAY IN THE LIFE:
Responsible for managerial aspects of a project including estimating, proposal preparation, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, design review, and execution
Work closely with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
Participate in proposal meeting with owner to review the scope of work and provide value engineering ideas
Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors
Conduct biweekly jobsite meetings
Partner with Superintendent to ensure safety, quality control, and schedule
Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
NECESSARY QUALIFICATIONS:
At least 5-8+ years of project management experience, preferably on large commercial and/or light industrial projects
Highly prefer design/build experience
Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
