We are seeking a Project Manager for Commercial Construction to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee commercial construction projects from conception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.

Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of the project life cycle including project planning, design, procurement, construction, and closeout.
2. Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and forecasts.
3. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
4. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
5. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
6. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
7. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
8. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses.
9. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
10. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
11. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
12. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
13. Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
14. Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members.
15. Use and continually develop leadership skills.
16. Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
17. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in commercial construction management.
3. Proven working experience in project management.
4. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
5. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking.
6. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
7. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
8. Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
9. Understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles.
10. Familiarity with construction/ project management software.
11. Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
12. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
13. A team player with leadership abilities.
14. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
15. Understanding of local planning and building regulations, as well as health and safety regulations.
16. A driver’s license is essential.
