Position Summary: Project Manager, Brand Marketing<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

The Project Manager, <\/span>Brand <\/span>Marketing<\/span> is the engine that keeps our marketing campaigns moving. This role <\/span>is responsible for<\/span> planning, tracking, and <\/span>facilitating<\/span> the end-to-end production of marketing deliverables across monthly promotions, events, and product campaigns. The Project Manager owns their projects from kickoff to delivery \u2014 serving as the <\/span>central point<\/span> of communication, the keeper of timelines, and the first line of defense against errors, delays, and missed dependencies. Projects span a wide range of tactics including In-Store Signage, Landing Pages, Homepage Takeovers, Web Suites, Emails, <\/span>Social Media<\/span>, Blog Articles, Paid Media, and Digital Display.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/p>

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>

  • Review project briefs, assess scope and requirements, and build detailed project schedules aligned to campaign calendars, business needs, and established SLAs.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
  • Own project tracking end-to-end \u2014 ensuring all stakeholders have what they need, deadlines are met, and no detail falls through the cracks.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
  • Proactively <\/span>identify<\/span> and communicate dependencies, risks, and potential delays to the <\/span>appropriate stakeholders<\/span> before they become problems.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
  • Manage the proofing process \u2014 posting proofs, <\/span>monitoring<\/span> feedback, ensuring all required approvals are received, and routing jobs back to creative with clear, <\/span>consolidated<\/span> direction.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
  • Serve as the source of truth for all project information \u2014 <\/span>maintaining<\/span> <\/span>accurate<\/span>, up-to-date status in the workflow management system and keeping all parties informed.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
  • Lead and <\/span>participate<\/span> in weekly status meetings with creative and marketing teams to keep priorities aligned and surface any blockers early.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
  • Partner with leadership to flag complications and recommend solutions that keep projects on track.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
  • Process invoices associated with assigned projects, apply <\/span>appropriate accounting<\/span> codes, and track production expenses for department reporting.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>
  • Support special projects such as branding updates and tactical experimentation as needed.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

To<\/strong> join<\/strong> our<\/strong> band,<\/strong> you'll<\/strong> need<\/strong> the<\/strong> following<\/strong> experience:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing<\/span> or a related field \u2014 or equivalent hands-on experience.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • 2\u20134 years of experience in marketing project management, ideally within a creative or in-house marketing environment.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Familiarity with project management and proofing tools such as <\/span>Quickbase<\/span>, JIRA, or <\/span>Ziflow<\/span>, or similar platforms.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Working<\/span> knowledge of marketing tactics across print, digital, email, social, and paid media \u2014 you <\/span>don't<\/span> need to build them, but you need to understand how they work.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • A natural ability to stay calm under pressure, juggle multiple projects simultaneously, and keep teams moving without losing accuracy.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Strong <\/span>communicator<\/span> who can hold stakeholders accountable <\/span>with<\/span> professionalism and keep creative teams focused without micromanaging.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Detail-obsessed, deadline-driven, and proactive by nature.<\/span><\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/li> <\/ul>

Pay Rate:<\/strong> \$75,000 - \$85,000 yr depending on background and experience. This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.<\/span><\/p>
