To build on this team, we are searching for a Project Manager. This role will work interdepartmentally to ensure the success of projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the lifecycle of automation projects, ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously, and deliver highly competitive solutions for customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Serve as primary point-of-contact between internal teams and customers
Facilitate internal collaboration by providing clear guidance to project teams
Lead project teams through project kickoffs, scope and engineering changes, schedule and budget management, open issues, and risk analysis
Identify and anticipate project needs and take action accordingly
Support Business Development by providing expertise on timelines, costs, and more
Prepare and communicate project status and escalate critical concerns as needed
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, leadership, and soft skills necessary to build relationships
Self-starting, focused, and able to work independently
Demonstrate efficient problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in technical field and/or experience managing projects in the automation industry
5+ years of experience in the automation industry
3+ years of experience in project management
Prior experience in machine design, build, or programming strongly preferred
History of successfully managing multiple customer contacts and projects at various stages of completion
PMP certification preferred but not required
Some travel to customer facilities may be required
