Piper Companies is looking to hire an onsite Project Manager based in Valley Green, PA. The Project Manager role supports a global leader in high-speed interconnect and electronics manufacturing, driving execution of complex new product development initiatives within the telecom and datacom markets.
Responsibilities of the Project Manager:
- Manage end-to-end project execution including planning, scope, schedule, and budget to ensure successful delivery
- Serve as the primary liaison to Program Managers, providing updates on project status, risks, and resource needs
- Lead cross-functional teams across multiple sites and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Drive financial performance through cost tracking, capital request support, and scope management
- Identify, mitigate, and manage project risks while ensuring speed to market and manufacturability standards (DFM)
Qualifications of the Project Manager:
- 4+ years of project management experience within manufacturing, mechanical, or hardware-focused environments
- Ability to thrive in a chaotic, fast-paced, high-pressure environment with constant change (non-process-heavy)
- Strong personality and work ethic; proactive, dependable, and coachable with willingness to support and grow into the role
- Comfortable starting in a support capacity under Program Managers, with strong stakeholder communication skills and conflict resolution ability; PMP certification preferred
- Willingness to travel 50-60% domestically (RTP, NC / Santa Clara, CA) initially, tapering over time
Compensation for the Project Manager includes:
Salary range: $70,000-$100,000
