Position Overview:

This role supports project execution by partnering closely with senior leadership to track budgets, timelines, and financial performance. The position is embedded within project teams, attending meetings, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment between financials and project milestones.

The ideal candidate is highly proficient in financial tracking, forecasting, and advanced Excel, with the ability to understand engineering concepts well enough to question costs and validate assumptions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and report project budgets, timelines, and financial status to senior leadership
• Attend project meetings to monitor progress and maintain alignment with financial plans
• Build and maintain complex spreadsheets, dashboards, and financial models
• Develop financial forecasts, including cost timing and payment projections
• Support senior leadership in executive-level meetings and reporting
• Analyze project costs and validate assumptions with engineering teams
• Ensure accurate tracking of all project-related financial data

Required Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in advanced Excel (macros, dashboards, data analysis)
• Experience with financial tracking tools (Tiger, Cobra, or similar)
• Proven ability to forecast project financials and track budget performance
• Ability to present financial data clearly to all levels of management
• Working understanding of engineering projects and cost drivers
• Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor"s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in the aerospace manuacturing industry
• Experience supporting engineering or technical project environments
• Background in project finance, program controls, or cost analysis
