Responsibilities -Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business -Provide leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones -Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously -Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives -Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test, and deployment management activities -Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence -Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization -Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings -Lead on-going execution / delivery efforts for infrastructure initiatives which includes the delivery of hardware, software, storage, network, and database components -Actively assess and mitigate risks and issues
Requirements This is a high-visibility role within E*TRADE, with significant strategic responsibility. As a result, we are looking for candidates with: -5+ years of Agile/Scrum experience managing mid to large infrastructure projects -Broad-based Agile / Scrum Master / Kanban expertise -Proven influencing and coaching capabilities -5 - 10 years of applied project leadership -Strong analytical and communications skills are a must (Note: strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills will be a baseline expectation for this role) -The ability to structure and organize complex data and execution efforts -A core focus on providing great service across our stakeholder groups on a daily basis -A foundational orientation towards servant-leadership oriented change management
Qualifications -Infrastructure experience is required for this role -Bachelor of Science (B.S) Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or MIS, or equivalent experience -Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is preferred -Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred -Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is desiredÂ
