Project Manager (Acquisition & Infrastructure Focus)
Location: REMOTE / MUST be in EST time zone
Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Position Overview

The Program/Project Manager will plan, and coordinate infrastructure and security projects triggered by acquisition activities across the organization. The role will support execution within the client's AMS acquisition program by coordinating technical teams, business stakeholders, and delivery priorities to ensure aligned, effective project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure, security, and M&A-related projects from initiation through completion, ensuring clear scope, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes.
  • Coordinate enterprise initiatives focused on cybersecurity, operational readiness, and regulatory alignment.
  • Partner with key IT and business stakeholders to align project delivery with organizational governance standards.
  • Ensure project activities comply with organizational standards, ISO requirements, GDPR obligations, security controls, and applicable regulatory expectations.
  • Develop and maintain core project artifacts, including schedules, RAID logs, communication plans, status reports, change control documentation, and decision records.
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment across regional teams, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Manage project governance through established reporting, risk mitigation, escalation, and change management processes.
  • Where applicable, coordinate vendor activities, contracts, deliverables, and dependencies to support successful project execution.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project delivery practices, documentation quality, and repeatable governance processes.

Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of project or program management experience within infrastructure, IT operations, or enterprise technology environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise merger, acquisition, or integration initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of core infrastructure domains, including networking, cloud platforms, data centers, storage, compute, and security.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise security concepts, including identity and access management, network security, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and related controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale technical projects with cross-functional teams, dependencies, and stakeholder groups.
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, or emerging AI regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure Experience working in regulated industries and publicly held enterprises
