CTG is currently seeking a Project Information Manager (PIM) for a full-time onsite position supporting Oil & Gas in Blaine, WA. Hours will be 6:30am - 3pm or 7am - 3:30pm. Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for knowledgeable and effective use of large format plotters for printing and scanning
  • Delivery of written content to include procedural manuals, technical specifications, and process documentation related to oil, gas, and refining
  • Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed
  • Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedures, and forms
  • Write descriptive manuals and guides for complex subjects
  • Duties to include researching topics, writing documents, and editing work for publication
  • Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension
  • Restocking of plotter and copier supplies (involves regularly lifting up to 50 lbs.)
  • Place service calls when needed
  • Process requests for reproduction of drawings and documents
  • Standard turnaround target is 48 hours or as determined by IMS Supervisor
  • Print P&ID drawings from Documentum and file in P&ID binders at the Unit Control Boards, North and South Dock Boards, and I/E Shop Library each trimester
  • Maintenance Reliability and Process Safety Management are updated on an alternating basis each trimester
  • Plot, distribute, and file all drawings from Master Plot List which includes all revised P&IDS and PSI Electrical drawings that have been merged to the vault
  • Distribute inspection P&ID s to Inspection Dept and I&E classified drawings to I&E shop
  • Send and retrieve archived mylars and closed project files to offsite retention center
  • Assist client staff and contractors in locating and printing drawings
  • Special projects as assigned by the IMS Lead
  • Register miscellaneous documents in Documentum

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills
  • Must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • 6 months experience with engineering information management
  • Preferred knowledge & experience with information and document control systems and databases related to engineering information and preferably in oil & gas industry
  • Documentum or similar document management systems
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office documents; especially Word and Excel
  • Problem-solving aptitude, works with minimal supervision, sees opportunities for improvement, and is a team player
  • Detail-oriented for accuracy in database entries and document registration
  • Experience with quality systems
  • Customer service-oriented/experience
  • Can follow written procedures
  • Use of database information to formulate reports
  • Knowledge and experience in refinery processes and business processes
  • Preferred knowledge and experience with management of Capital and Expense engineering, design, and construction projects and project stages including management of as-built drawings
  • Fundamental knowledge of piping, electrical, and instrumentation drawings
  • Knowledge of OSHA 1910 process safety and management of change regulations and related WISHA regulations
  • Knowledge and experience with auditing systems and documents
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60,000 to $66,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
