Overview:

I am seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Executive to lead and oversee complex construction projects. This role demands a strategic thinker with proven leadership capabilities and a track record of delivering successful projects within the commercial or industrial construction sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight & Execution: Drive project completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget constraints, safety standards, and quality expectations. Utilize tools like Procore for effective project tracking and management.
  • Contract & Change Management: Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and manage change orders effectively in collaboration with project management and legal teams.
  • IT & Technical Coordination: Collaborate with IT teams to align technological infrastructure with project requirements, ensuring seamless integration and operational continuity.
  • Staffing & Organizational Development: Work with HR to align staffing plans with project needs, promote talent development, and mentor project teams to enhance leadership and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional & Executive Coordination: Act as a liaison between project teams and internal departments to ensure alignment and facilitate decision-making processes.
  • Risk Management & Reporting: Proactively manage project risks, ensuring timely documentation and communication of project metrics and risk status to executive leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications such as PMP or CCM are preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial or industrial construction is required.
  • Expertise in project management and scheduling tools, including Primavera P6, is essential.
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and negotiation practices.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams with excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
