Job Details

This is a permanent position, offering an exciting opportunity to lead and manage hyperscale data center projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in construction management, budgeting, quality control, scheduling, cost control, team leadership, safety management, procurement, resource allocation, blueprint reading, and site management.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
2. Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
3. Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
4. Select tools, materials, and equipment and track inventory.
5. Meet contractual conditions of performance.
6. Review the work progress on a daily basis.
7. Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
8. Analyze, manage, and mitigate risks.
9. Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
10. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status.
11. Ensure all safety guidelines are followed strictly and establish a safe work environment.
12. Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain necessary permits and licenses.

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of Mission Critical Project Management experience, including experience as a Project Executive or Director.
  • Must have data center experience, leading projects ranging from 50MW - 200MW
  • Electrical contractor background required
  • Experience managing full electrical scopes on large projects
  • Strong budgeting, scheduling, manpower, and change order management skills
  • Experience leading large field teams and coordinating subcontractors
