OverviewThe Project Engineer assists the Project Management Team in meeting the Company's objectives and goals, which include ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and per contract and specifications. The Project Engineer along with the Project Management team maintain a safe working environment for all employees.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the execution and management of the terms of project contractsPrepare and present computer-generated spreadsheets and reportsMaintain regular communication and collaboration with entire project team, including Project Foreman, Project Manager, General Contractor, Architect/Engineer, and other subcontractorsGenerate, maintain and facilitate project documentation in the execution of the construction processes for all-phases of the project. This will include, but is not limited to, requests for information, submittals, drawings, specifications, purchase orders, material orders, change orders, close-out documents, etcDemonstrate attention to detail, efficiency, and integrity in all aspects of the workMaintain flexibility with assigned work environment, and assigned project locations. May be required to commute to various jobsite locationsAttend and conduct meetings as requiredHold a valid driver's license and responsible transportation requiredComply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs as establishedOther duties may be assigned as specific projects dictateQualificationsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field1-2 years prior experience in related field via internships, co-ops, and/or industry employmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to multi-task, stay organized, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environmentFlexibility and adaptability in utilizing a wide range of computer software including Microsoft Office, Accubid, Constructware, Kahua, Procore, PlanGrid, etc.Engineer-in-training certification, Journeyman license, and field experience preferred, but not required#J-18808-Ljbffr
