  • Contributing to estimating activities—performing takeoffs, soliciting vendor/subcontractor pricing, assembling bid packages, and preparing change orders.
  • Assisting with jobsite oversight and quality control as needed to support project progress and troubleshoot installation or coordination challenges.
  • Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution in the field.
  • Supporting procurement efforts including vendor/subcontractor buyout, tracking, and delivery logistics.
  • Participating in financial tracking such as labor forecasts, invoice reviews, billing preparation, and budget updates.
  • Assisting with project closeout processes including O&M manual development, commissioning coordination, as-built documentation, and warranty management.
  • Communicating regularly with the project team to identify, escalate, and resolve issues that could impact schedule or budget.
  • Providing technical support for planning, design, value engineering, and alternate solution reviews.
  • Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments.
  • Performing other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor or project leadership.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Mechanical or related engineering discipline is strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience or internship background in construction project support, coordination, or engineering roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • Familiarity with construction software tools such as Bluebeam, Smartsheet, Box, BidTracer, FastEst, IFS, or similar platforms is a plus.
