The successful candidate will collaborate closely with development, engineering, procurement, construction, utilities, consultants, and executive leadership to ensure technically sound project execution while helping optimize project economics and long-term operational performance.This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the largest utility-scale solar and energy storage developments in the world while joining a highly respected leader in renewable energy development.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support throughout the full projectlifecycle, from greenfield development through commercial operationLead technical due diligence efforts for utility-scalesolar and battery energy storage projectsDevelop engineering specifications, one-line diagrams,technical exhibits, and supporting documentation for EPC contractsCoordinate engineering activities during projectexecution, including technical reviews, issue resolution, and designoptimizationEvaluate engineering alternatives that improve projectperformance, constructability, reliability, and financial outcomesSupport EPC contractor selection by reviewing technicalproposals and participating in contract developmentAssist with the specification, evaluation, andprocurement of major electrical equipment, including high-voltage systemsCoordinate equipment integration betweenowner-furnished and EPC-provided systemsProvide engineering support for utility interconnectionactivities, including coordination with utilities and independent systemoperators (ISOs)Assist with interconnection agreements, utilitystudies, and transmission-related technical requirementsCollaborate with multidisciplinary project teams toensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and inaccordance with technical standardsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred;other engineering disciplines will be considered with directly applicableutility-scale renewable energy experienceApproximately4–12yearsof engineeringexperience supporting utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, orrenewable energy infrastructure projectsExperience supporting projects from greenfielddevelopment (or mergers and acquisitions) through engineering,procurement, construction, commissioning, and operationsStrong understanding of utility-scale solarphotovoltaic systems and battery energy storage technologiesExperience leading technical due diligence activitiesfor renewable energy development projectsDemonstrated experience developing engineeringspecifications, technical drawings, contract exhibits, and EPCdocumentationExperience supporting EPC contractor selection andengineering oversight during constructionKnowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and majorequipment procurementExperience supporting utility interconnectionactivities, including coordination with utilities, independent systemoperators, and transmission providersFamiliarity with Large Generator InterconnectionAgreements (LGIA), interconnection studies, and utility coordinationprocesses is highly desirableStrong analytical, communication, and projectcoordination skillsStable employment history demonstrating long-termcommitment and progressive career growthBenefitsCompetitive base salary of$150,000–$200,000 , basedon experienceAnnual incentive bonus opportunity of20–25%Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement savings plan with companycontributionsGenerous paid time off and company holidaysProfessional development and career advancementopportunitiesOpportunity to work on one of the world's largestutility-scale solar and energy storage developmentsCollaborative culture with an industry-leadingrenewable energy developer focused on innovation and long-term growth
