The company is known for a strong focus on multifamily and commercial work and a culture that values employees.Description Ensure Contract Document Logs are established and maintainedEnsure status reports on RFIs, Submittals and other documents are prepared and presentedWrite effective scopes of work for bid packagesIssue requests for quotes and follow up with subcontractorsTimely document field quality activitiesPrepare change management reports, estimates and other cost report documentsEstablish and maintain the project quality files and documentation systemsPromote organizational change initiatives and adapt to new structures and processesUnderstand customer goals and needs and act with urgency to demonstrate valueDevelop industry relationships and expand professional networks with potential to generate opportunitiesAbide by the company Code of Conduct dailyCreate and maintain construction schedules with critical path methodsProfile / Qualifications 5-10 years in commercial and podium multi-family projects preferredBachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferredKnowledge of construction principals/practicesExperience directing and coordinating tradesExperience working with a Project Management team and successful completion of projectsKnowledge of San Diego trades and permit process a plusSolid computer skills with working knowledge of MS OfficeExcellent communication and leadershipJob Offer Competitive base salary ($80k-$95k) depending on experienceAnnual bonusFull benefits package and 401(k)Extensive paid time offGrowth and career advancement opportunitiesGreat opportunity in San Diego with a full service general contractorMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
