PTS Advance is looking for a Project Engineer / Project Manager with experience in planning and coordinating technical engineering and system development to ensure compliance with requirements, scope, budget, and schedule. Responsible for leading a small team in the development and programming of process control systems. Expectation is to implement control strategies, design control panels, specify instrumentation, and program standard PLC/HMI packages. Essential job requires both office and field environments. The position entails some domestic travel.

Technical Expertise:
Possess significant knowledge of complex process control and PLC programming and ensures project team effectively modifies or develops programs based on control strategies and specifications.
Knowledgeable with HMI/SCADA programming from stand-alone to redundant distributed
Understands the benefits of the various programming languages and accurately suggests the use of the appropriate technology for the application .
Led the development of system specifications, sequence of operations, and control narratives based on client requirements
Possesses significant knowledge of client/server and virtualized systems architectures and accurately suggests the use of the appropriate technology for the application.
Understands the development of testing plans and conducting factory and site testing
Specify and configure instruments
Commissioning of systems (some remote travel required)
Perform, and lead, system commissioning, and field support functions
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited school
Minimum 3 years as project technical lead
Minimum 2 years experience with project management processes
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Self-motivated, energetic individual with a can-do attitude
