Kennedy Jenks is seeking a dynamic Project Engineer to join our growing team in Virginia. This role is ideal for an individual skilled in managing multiple tasks and deadlines while working with multi-disciplinary teams. In this role you will be involved in a variety of water wastewater recycled water utility infrastructure and treatment process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design and Analysis Develop detailed designs consisting of drawings specifications and calculations for water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Manage technical tasks including planning design and construction support for civil infrastructure projects.
Project Management Support larger projects or lead smaller projects or components coordinating with the Project Manager team members and sub-consultants. Ensure the timely completion of tasks and assist in managing project budgets schedules and deliverables.
Technical Support Provide expert support for multi-disciplinary teams in planning and executing infrastructure projects including pipelines tanks reservoirs pump stations and treatment facilities. Understand and apply industry standards client requirements and regulatory guidelines.
Field Work Conduct site inspections and field measurements. Engage in field activities ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
Documentation and Coordination Prepare engineering documents and contract documents including construction specifications and plans. Review shop drawings and submittals respond to requests for information and prepare site observation reports.
Communication and Collaboration Assist in preparing client presentations and maintaining client communication. Ensure compatibility with design intent by coordinating with other disciplines.
