Position Summary

The Project Engineer provides business and administrative support to facilitate the planning, coordination, and tracking activities of designated projects to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.

Hiring Requirements

• Associate degree in civil engineering • Construction Management • Mechanical Engineering • or other related degrees • a plus or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience

Basic knowledge of engineering cost control, schedules, and safety is required. Two years of experience in construction administration, design, finance, and management is desirable. Education may be substituted for experience. Basic analytic skills and the ability to handle projects, costs, and invoices are necessary. Possesses discipline regarding processes, procedures, and demonstrated organizational skills. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office are required. Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Project, or Oracle Primavera is desirable. Strong interpersonal skills combined with the ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing are necessary. Must be courteous, professional, and diplomatic.

OSHA 10 Construction Certification or ability to obtain during pre-employment company-provided online training is required. Obtain and maintain a DOT medical card and pass pre-employment drug screen. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid unrestricted Drivers License.
