We are on a growth trajectory and are seeking qualified, self-driven, and collaborative professional engineers who want variety, have a strong sense of accountability, engineering ethics, attention to detail, and true professionalism in whom our clients will quickly grow to trust and rely upon.ResponsibilitiesConduct on-site engineering inspections including structural, building condition, engineering studies, and forensic assessmentsDevelop construction documents and engineering calculations to support the repair of items inspected with deficienciesManage and coordinate projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deliverables and consulting budgetsProvide clear and concise written reports and conduct meetings to discuss inspection resultsLead, manage, direct, and review the work of other engineering staff review and stamp reportsProfessionally and effectively interface with clients, team members, other Criterium affiliate offices, and Criterium Engineers main officeProvide input to proposals and project types to include cost estimationWork with ownership to expand service areas that are in alignment with client requirements and market demandTravel to job sites around the Phoenix metro area, throughout Arizona, and occasionally to the Las Vegas officeQualificationsA Bachelors Degree in Civil, Structural, Architectural, Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction Engineering TechnologyLicensed engineer (PE) with at least 2 years experience as a Project Engineer in a related field pay will be commensurate with experienceDesign and AutoCad (AutoCad Lite) experienceExperience with building codes, including IBC and local codesExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsHumble team player who can lead by example, is self-accountable, and proactively collaborates with the team and clientsProven self-starter with the ability to work independentlyStrong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentUnited States citizen and legally authorized to work in the United States with a valid Arizona drivers licenseMeet the physical requirements of the job to include extensive walking, climbing ladders, heights, and occasionally small spacesOther InformationCriterium-Kessler Engineers offers a great work environment with competitive salary commensurate with experience.
