As a Project Engineer Intern at Weis Builders, you will dive into real-world projects that take you to the core of the construction industry. With direct contact with subcontractors, architects, and potentially owners, your involvement will grow as the internship progresses. Many of our interns return for multiple summers, gaining a broad range of experience across estimating, project management, and field operations.Key Responsibilities Actively participate in exciting projects, helping ensure they are completed on or ahead of schedule and on or under budgetAssist in writing and negotiating contracts and change ordersBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other project partnersContribute to the development and management of production schedulesSupport the project team in delivering a final product that delights clients and exceeds expectationsLearn and implement best practices in the construction industry through real-world challengesQualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or a similar construction programA GPA of 3.0 or higherStrong communication and organizational skillsEagerness to learn and gain hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced, dynamic environmentA desire to take initiative, problem‑solve, and contribute to successful project outcomesPrevious industry experience is a plus, but not requiredWhy Join Weis Builders?
