Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost.Impact of the RoleRequires working knowledge and experience in own job discipline and broadens capabilities.Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes and customers.Performs a range of assignments related to job discipline.Uses prescribed guidelines or policies in analyzing situations.Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction.Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment.Essential FunctionsPerforms engineering design evaluations and works to complete projects within budget and scheduling restraints.Reviews industry policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.Reviews reports of production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine or address problems.Provides technical support for the engineering process.Designs, implements, and communicates an operational plan for completing the project. Monitors progress and performance against the project plan.Takes action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.Identifies, develops, and gathers resources necessary to complete the project.Prepares engineering designs and work specifications.Develops project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.Selects materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors.Required QualificationsRequired education and experience: Associate's Degree and 2-4 years' experience.Discipline/Major: Engineering degree required.Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Preferred QualificationsPreferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree.Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills; analytical thinking; design review; project engineering; resource planning; technical project management; computer-aided engineering (CAE) software; project management software.Physical RequirementsMust be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.Travel RequirementsUp to 25% travel likely.Pay Range (USD)$83,900-$113,600Pay Transparency StatementThe salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
