Employees in this class are assigned to the Engineering Department and are expected to carry out various engineering, project management, and construction‑related assignments. Responsibilities of this class title include but are not limited to: assisting in planning work schedules; reviewing work for engineering sufficiency; project and construction management duties; coordinating with regulatory agencies; reviewing contractor and consultant payments; reviewing construction for conformance with plans and specifications; contract administration duties as assigned; and coordinating work with operations, maintenance, and all other internal stakeholders as directed.
