Position Overview

The Project Engineer will work closely with an experienced Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of commercial construction projects. This position is designed as a growth role, providing structured training and real‑world exposure to all phases of construction management.

You will gain experience in vendor selection, contract development, cost control, and jobsite coordination while learning how commercial construction projects operate from start to finish.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Project Manager to support active construction projects
  • Assist with vendor and subcontractor selection, including:
  • RFP/RFQ development and distribution
  • Reviewing bids and making vendor recommendations
  • Coordinating vendor communications
  • Assisting with contract preparation and execution
  • Support project planning, scheduling, and jobsite monitoring
  • Participate in cost tracking and budgeting activities
  • Travel to project sites for progress monitoring and coordination
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope
  • Maintain organized project documentation and reporting

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Industrial Engineering
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-40% depending on project needs
  • Interest in building a long‑term career in construction management

Preferred:

  • Internship or co‑op experience in construction or engineering (not required)
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment
  • Team‑oriented mindset

Compensation & Bonus

  • Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 annually (depending on experience)
  • Quarterly project‑based bonus (details explained during interview process)
