Project Engineer – Land Development & Vertical ConstructionPay: $75,000–$95,000 annually (DOE)Location: DFW Metroplex (Primary office located in North Richland Hills, TX)Position SummaryThe Project Engineer provides technical, coordination, and documentation support for land development and vertical construction projects , working closely with Project Managers and senior engineers. This role is intended for an experienced Project Engineer (1–3 years) with hands‑on exposure to design coordination, permitting, and construction execution who can operate with minimal supervision and take ownership of assigned project components.The Project Engineer supports projects from entitlement and site development through vertical construction , ensuring coordination between design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and field operations.Key Responsibilities Land DevelopmentReview and coordinate civil site plans including grading, drainage, paving, and utilitiesCoordinate with civil engineers, surveyors, utility providers, and municipal agenciesPrepare and manage permit submittals; track comments, responses, and approvalsMaintain working knowledge of zoning, site plan, grading, and municipal requirementsPerform quantity takeoffs and assist with site logistics and construction planningSupport value engineering and constructability reviewsVertical ConstructionCoordinate between architectural, structural, and MEP design teamsReview drawings to identify conflicts, missing information, and constructability issuesManage submittals, RFIs, drawing logs, and design clarificationsAssist with subcontractor bid reviews, scope leveling, and buyout supportConstruction Phase SupportSupport Project Managers with field coordination and documentationParticipate in site meetings, inspections, and progress walksTrack quantities, schedule impacts, and cost items as directedAssist with pay applications, change documentation, and closeout materialsProject Controls & AdministrationMaintain organized digital project files, logs, and documentationTrack action items, deliverables, and permit status across multiple projectsAssist with schedule updates and milestone trackingSupport standardized processes, templates, and reporting toolsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field1–3 years of experience in land development, site civil, and/or vertical constructionWorking knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, and coordination workflowsExperience supporting permitting and municipal coordination effortsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesEffective written and verbal communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience supporting projects through both site development and vertical construction phasesProficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, or similar toolsEIT certification or progress toward professional licensureExperience supporting DOT, municipal, or commercial development projectsWhat This Role Is NotThis is not a Project Manager roleThis position supports and executes under the direction of Project Management and senior engineering staffReporting RelationshipReports to a Project Manager, Senior Engineer, or Development Lead.Additional InformationProfessional reference checks are conducted as part of the hiring processRagle, Inc. is not sponsoring visas at this time and participates in E-VerifyRagle, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity EmployerNo unsolicited resumes from agencies or third-party recruiters#J-18808-Ljbffr
