Commercial General Contracting Company specializing in Architectural services, Pre-construction, Construction Management, Design-Build, and General Commission Contracting is seeking a qualified Construction Project Coordinator/Engineer.
Responsibilities Include and are not limited to:
Tracking of all RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Review and process all submittals and request for information (RFIs), ensuring compliance with contract documents and in accordance with project needs.
Prepare all change order requests and agreement change orders, review for pricing and status, ensuring compliance with prime contract. Maintain document files and logs
Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination
Fully understand the scope of all subcontracts; keep Project Manager and Project Superintendent aware of potential challenges
Assisting with project closeout; final quantities, final change orders and final releases from agreements
Files hard or electronic inspection reports, test reports, and any job-related items
Qualifications:
Knowledge of commercial construction general contracting.
Excellent oral and written communication
Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Self-motivated
Attention to details even under pressure
Critical thinking and decision-making skills
Preferred qualifications include proficiency with Microsoft applications and Sage Contractor 100
