As a Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of commercial and municipal projects; project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections.Responsibilities:Provide technical and administrative support to ensure successful project executionSupport the development, maintenance, and distribution of project estimates and bidsAssist in developing and updating project schedules; communicate updates with subcontractors and OwnersContribute to the review, development, and issuance of subcontracts and change ordersDevelop working knowledge of cost book, financial management tools, and change order processesUnderstand and support compliance with Owner contracts and company quality standardsManage administrative tasks including RFIs, submittals, and pricing/change order trackingCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive resolution of project issuesIdentify project risks and assist in creating risk mitigation plansPromote safety by supporting implementation of OSHA and company safety standardsMentor and develop project interns as part of team supportApply the company's Core Values throughout all phases of project support.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a related field; 2+ years of experience in construction or project engineeringBasic understanding of construction sequencing, build processes, and project administrationFamiliarity with onscreen takeoff tools (OST, SmartBid, Destini or equivalent), BlueBeam, scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and construction document managementStrong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsAbout Scott-HumphreyWe are a national recruitment practice specializing in Construction, Real Estate, Legal, Pharma/Med Device, Digital Marketing, Creative, & Shared Services recruitment.
