Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Project Managers to help deliver commercial construction projects safely, on schedule, and within budget
- Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and other critical project documentation
- Support project planning efforts, including scheduling, procurement coordination, and budget monitoring
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to maintain project momentum and resolve issues proactively
- Participate in project meetings and ensure accurate documentation, reporting, and record management
- Contribute to quality control and safety initiatives while helping achieve project performance goals
- Assist with project closeout activities, including punch list completion, turnover packages, and final project documentation
Profile
What we are looking for:
- A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred
- Previous experience in a Project Engineer position or a similar construction-focused role
- Exposure to commercial construction projects is highly desirable
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or comparable software is a plus
