Our engineered solutions are developed through a culture of integrity, service, creativity, and quality for the benefit of our clients and the community.With ten office locations and a staff of 400+, Martin/Martin engineers have project experience in all 50 states and on all seven continents.The TeamOur Civil Engineering teams focus on site and infrastructure design, including leading projects such as the 16th Street Mall redesign in Denver.Responsibilities Assists in conceptual design.Assists in fee determination and proposal preparation.Fills out Project Setup Forms and reviews/fills out work authorizations.Establishes a QA/QC plan for each project.Acts as a mentor for younger engineers and assists with their career development.Attends project meetings and represents Martin/Martin, Inc. during design and construction.Follows up on collection of account receivables.Requirements Required Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited curriculumRegistered Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Kansas or ability to obtain one within 3 months.5–8 years of progressive civil engineering experienceMust be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.Ability to work in the Kansas City area. Relocation reimbursement may be provided, depending on the role and job function.Desired Min 4 years' experience in site development, land development, or infrastructure.Min 1 years' experience with Professional Engineer (PE) licenseKnowledge of or proficiency with Civil3D, StormCAD, FlowMaster, WaterCAD, AutoTurn.Shows strong interest in participating in company initiativesConstruction field experienceExcellent time management and organizational skillsPhysical Demands This position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities.
