Job Title: Project Engineer - Electrical / MEP Inspector
Job Description
This role focuses on performing field inspections of electrical and MEP installations on an infrastructure project, ensuring work complies with plans, specifications, safety standards, and applicable codes. The project engineer documents daily construction activities, supports testing and commissioning of electrical systems, and collaborates closely with the project team to maintain quality and safety throughout the construction process.

Work Environment
This is an on-site inspector role for an infrastructure project in Brooklyn. The position is a 3-6 month temporary assignment, with work performed primarily in the field on an active construction site. The role involves regular presence outdoors and in partially completed structures, exposure to typical construction conditions, and adherence to site safety protocols and personal protective equipment requirements. The environment offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with a construction management team and public agency representatives while gaining experience on a significant infrastructure project.
