Description

Project Coordination & Administration

  • Assist Project Manager in all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
  • Maintain and manage project documentation including RFIs, submittals, drawings, and specifications
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure alignment on project requirements
  • Track and log RFIs and submittals, ensuring timely review and responses

Scheduling & Planning

  • Support development and updating of project schedules
  • Help monitor project progress and identify potential delays or risks
  • Coordinate subcontractor activities to maintain schedule adherence

Cost Control & Procurement

  • Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and forecasting
  • Support procurement of subcontractors and materials
  • Review subcontractor bids and assist with scope leveling
  • Track change orders and support pricing reviews

Field Support

  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Collaborate with Superintendents to ensure field operations align with plans and schedule
  • Assist in resolving field issues and coordinating solutions

Quality & Safety

  • Support implementation of company safety program and ensure compliance with OSHA standards
  • Participate in quality control processes and inspections
  • Maintain documentation related to safety and quality assurance

Project Closeout

  • Assist with punch list completion and project closeout documentation
  • Ensure all required documents (as-builts, warranties, O&M manuals) are collected and submitted

Profile

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture

Experience

  • 1-5 years of experience in commercial construction (internships count) with a General Contractor
  • Exposure to projects such as Healthcare, K12 / Higher-Ed preferred

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
  • Experience working in the South Florida / Miami construction market
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
