REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• 10+ years of experience in project or program management within telecom, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure construction
• Proven experience operating at a Project Director, Program Manager, or Operations Manager level • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent large-scale projects with full accountability for delivery
• Strong expertise in construction execution, including permitting, engineering coordination, and field operations
• Experience managing contractor performance, project budgets, and schedules at scale
• Deep understanding of telecom infrastructure or adjacent industries (utilities, heavy civil, commercial construction) Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across teams and senior leadership levels
• Oversee the delivery of multiple concurrent telecom infrastructure projects, including long-haul fiber routes, site infrastructure, OSP, and tower builds
• Own full project accountability across scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, permitting, and construction to ensure successful project execution
• Manage contractor and subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and contractual obligations
• Drive project planning, risk mitigation, and issue resolution across all phases of the build lifecycle
• Oversee permitting processes and ensure seamless coordination between regulatory, engineering, and field teams • Partner closely with internal leadership, clients, and stakeholders to provide project updates, manage expectations, and ensure alignment
• Monitor overall program performance and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, scalability, and consistency Support commercial oversight, including contract execution, change orders, and cost control across projects

This North American construction company is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of large-scale telecom infrastructure programs across multiple regions. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple concurrent construction projects, including long-haul fiber optic deployments, site infrastructure builds, wireless towers, and OSP initiatives.
