About the role:

As a Project Cost Controls Specialist, you will integrate cost and schedule controls within defined standards. You will work with project teams on the compilation, assessment, and documentation of project costs, schedules, and associated monitoring and reporting required at multiple stages of the projects. You will also coordinate use of project management tools at an enterprise level, including milestone and naming conventions to facilitate clear portfolio roll up, and review schedules for logic quality. Demonstrated strength in communications, collaboration, investigative, and leadership capabilities.

You will report to the Manager of Codes & Methods PMO. This is a hybrid role based in Cranberry, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and support project and portfolio reporting, including status updates, performance dashboards, and management review materials.

Coach and support Project Managers and project teams in the effective use of project controls tools, processes, and enterprise systems, without assuming direct project ownership.

Support Project Managers in implementing and controlling projects through schedule, cost, and performance management.

Implement standardized project controls processes, and best practices across projects.

Maintain, and analyze project schedules to support forecasting, progress tracking, and management reporting according to governance standards.

Perform project cost control activities, including supporting budget development, cost tracking, forecasting, variance analysis, and identification of cost risks or recovery actions

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related technical discipline.

Minimum 3+ years of project controls experience in the nuclear industry or similar technical environment.

Experience with data analytics activities, including data collection, schedule analytics, cost & budget analytics, earned value, and risk analytics considered beneficial.

Experience in both cost control and scheduling, with additional experience in risk management and change control considered beneficial.

Knowledge of project controls, reporting, and engineering controls; previous experience working with different business systems and tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, SAP).

Understanding of PMI project management concepts; Project Management Institute Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) helpful

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year.
