OVERVIEW

Working as Full-time Project Coordinator in the FMI Fastenal Managed Inventory Technology Operations and Development department you will be responsible for the planning execution and completion of projects. This role ensures that projects are delivered on time within scope and meets the required quality standards. The Project Coordinator will work closely with project teams stakeholders and other departments to achieve project objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited too

  • Assisting in the development of project plans including defining project scope objectives milestones and timelines
  • Maintaining clear and effective communication with project stakeholders team members and other departments. Providing regular updates on project status and progress.
  • Coordinating with project stakeholders to ensure deliveries are met in a timely and accurate manner
  • Developing and maintain project materials including Standard Operating Procedures SOPs graphics training materials reports and conceptual documents
  • Utilizing various applications and tools both common and specialized to create and manage project materials
  • Maintaining accurate records and project tracking
  • Demonstrating knowledge of business offerings products processes and standards

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving deductive reasoning and decision-making skills
  • Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Highly motivated self-directed and customer service-oriented
  • Work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Demonstrate strong organization planning and prioritizing abilities
  • Demonstrate our core values of ambition innovation integrity and teamwork
  • Pass the required drug screen applicable in the US Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possess or are working towards a degree in Business Operations Communications Marketing or a related field of study OR have administrative customer service or industry related experience and product knowledge
  • Experience with graphic design software project management tools and other relevant applications

COMPENSATION

The base pay range for this position is 55000 - 60000. In addition to base pay this position is also eligible for a bonus andor commission.
