Job Details

We’re hiring a Project Coordinator to support our fabrication team by bridging the gap between project management, design, and production. This role works closely with the Project Manager and Laser Operator to verify work orders, organize CAD files, and assist with nesting plans to ensure jobs move efficiently through the shop.
This is not a heavy programming role — it’s ideal for someone with basic CAD / fabrication exposure who enjoys coordinating work and keeping production organized.

Key Responsibilities

Review and organize work orders, drawings, and job packages before release to production
Work with the Project Manager and Laser Operator to verify nesting plans and file accuracy
Make light updates to DXF files (cleanup, revisions, basic edits)
Assist in preparing and organizing laser nests to improve workflow and material use
Ensure correct revisions and files are issued to the shop floor
Communicate between PM, laser, and press brake teams to avoid delays or rework
Help track job progress and flag issues early

What They’re Looking For

1–3 years in manufacturing, fabrication, or construction/project support
Basic experience with CAD or DXF files (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
Familiarity with sheet metal or fabrication environments is a strong plus
Highly organized — able to manage multiple jobs/files at once
Strong communication — comfortable working with both office + shop teams

Nice to Have (not required)

Exposure to laser cutting, nesting, or fabrication workflows
Entry-level experience with nesting software or CAD/CAM tools
