The Project Coordinator supports project managers and field teams in the execution of construction, fabrication, and installation projects. This role ensures project activities move efficiently from planning through completion, with additional responsibility for coordinating purchasing, vendor communication, and material tracking. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Scheduling Assist in planning, sequencing, and coordinating project tasks to meet deadlines.
Purchasing Coordination Issue purchase orders, source materials, track deliveries, and maintain vendor relationships.
Project Documentation Prepare and maintain logs, reports, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes.
Stakeholder Communication Serve as a liaison between internal teams, suppliers, contractors, and clients to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
Budget Tracking Monitor expenses, verify invoices, and support cost-control efforts.
Material & Equipment Tracking Ensure materials are ordered, delivered, and staged according to project timelines.
Compliance & Quality Support Assist in maintaining safety documentation, quality standards, and company procedures.
Meeting Coordination Organize project meetings, distribute agendas, and follow up on action items.
Record Management Maintain accurate, organized project files for reporting and audits.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in construction, fabrication, or a related technical industry.
Experience with purchasing, vendor communication, or material procurement is highly preferred.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and familiarity with project management software
Ability to work independently while supporting multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable managing deadlines, shifting priorities, and high-volume workloads.
Compensation: $30.00$35.00 per hour (DOE)
