A growing commercial flooring and acoustic ceiling contractor is seeking a highly organized Project Coordinator to support projects from kickoff through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating materials, deliveries, project documentation, and communication between customers, vendors, field teams, and internal departments. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced construction environment while helping ensure projects stay on schedule and materials arrive on time.

Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Coordinate purchasing, material orders, and deliveries for commercial flooring and acoustic ceiling projects
- Work closely with project managers, sales teams, vendors, and field personnel to support project execution
- Track project schedules, material lead times, and delivery dates to ensure projects remain on schedule
- Prepare and manage submittals, samples, project documentation, and customer-facing materials
- Coordinate shipping logistics and truckloads to maximize efficiency and control costs
- Monitor inventory levels and verify materials are ordered accurately for upcoming projects
- Manage returned materials, manufacturer claims, and change orders as needed throughout project lifecycles
- Review layouts, measurements, and project details prior to material shipment and installation
- Maintain accurate project records and update internal systems with job progress and order information



Project Coordinator Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or similar role for a specialty contractor
- Associates or bachelors preferred, but not required
- Experience purchasing construction materials, or other products
- Proficiency in Excel
