Onsite in Redmond, WA- 3 days minimum
Duties
- Inventory
- Inventory Management / Device Logistics
- Inventory and distribution management for hardware prototypes and commercial devices
- Work closely with Logistics team to coordinate device transfers
- Work closely with procurement specialists to facilitate the procurement of additional commercial devices on an as-needed basis, based on inventory levels.
- Conduct and maintain periodic inventories of all prototypes and commercial devices.
- Perform firmware updates across hardware prototypes
- Procurement
- Coordinate procurement activities for a Research and Development team
- Complete purchase requests and monitor progress of the requests through each stage of the procurement process
- Proactively escalate cases with cross-functional partners across the business as needed
- Work closely with external vendors to solve procurement, logistics, and invoicing issues
- Identify and document recurring issues to identify areas for improvement
Skills
Must Haves:
- 3 years of experience working in a similar coordinating role
- Independent, driven, eager to learn, and share information with other team members
- Experience using communication tools such as Gmail, Calendar, and Gsuite
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer service mindset to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to solve problems
- Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure; proactive problem solver
- Experience keeping project documents and document templates up-to-date; reviewing and presenting reports to management team
- Interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of technical staff
- Motivation to work with AI to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in maintaining a Hardware inventory tracking program
- Experience using project management tools
Education: Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience
- Familiarity leveraging AI-powered tools to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency
