Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and completion of projects across [department/company]. The ideal candidate will assist project managers in coordinating schedules, resources, equipment, and information while ensuring project documentation is up-to-date and communication flows efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing project plans, schedules, and work breakdown structures.
Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for seamless execution.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
Organize and attend project meetings; take detailed minutes and follow up on action items.
Communicate with team members and stakeholders to clarify requirements, scope, and objectives.
Track and report on project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
Assist with risk management and change management processes.
Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in project coordination or a similar administrative role.
Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Proficiency in project management software tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello, Smartsheet).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification.
