JOB TITLE: Project Controller/Data Analyst

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

THIS IS NOT A REMOTE JOB- MUST ABLE TO WORK ON SITE EVERY DAY IN TAYLOR TX

SYSTEM USED IS EXCEL- MUST HAVE HIGH LEVEL EXCEL SKILLS- PIVOT TABLE, MACROS, ETC

  • Develop and maintain multiple project reports (both internal & client) on a weekly basis.
  • Develop and maintain multiple reports on weekly and monthly labor progress and performance reports (both internal and client), project cost tracking reports for indirect labor and subcontracts.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of change management system including change orders, budget shifts, and trends including contingency management.
  • Timely and accurate forward-looking analysis and mitigation plan development to reduce or eliminate unforeseen cost impacts.
  • Actively participate in reviews of all project controls deliverables with the project team.
  • Assist management in forecasting the project expected costs for monthly reporting purposes.
  • Develop and maintain progress tracking tool.
  • Perform data audits to ensure accuracy of information.
  • Establish key performance indicators (and/or strengthen details and definitions of existing KPI) and metrics to monitor project performance and operational health.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of experience in Project Controls.
  • Possess thorough working knowledge of scheduling and costing principles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HIGH LEVEL EXCEL SKILLS
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Project Management, or related field, preferred or equivalent work experience, required.
  • Strong understanding of project management and process design principles and construction practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
