Job OverviewAs a Project Controls Analyst with APTIM you will have the chance to work on project teams using expertise in forecasting change management cost management project budget analysis earn value analysis risk management proposal support estimate development cashflow and other financial reporting tools. You will manage the overall projectprogram cost controls and financial reporting by providing client management documentation updates and presentations for projects generally under 20M in value. You may interface directly in CPM schedule software to perform basic schedules or create project specific visualizations utilizing Power BI or similar tools.This position will primarily support the Emergency Management Disaster Services and Infrastructure Management team. This role will require 40-50 hours per week with the majority of the overtime focused on proposal efforts and project initiation during the time immediately following EmergencyDisaster incidents. This position may require more than 50 hours for the first 3 months or so of a response as well as availability on nights and weekends during this timeframe. This position will have a key role in initial setup and support of the project infrastructure necessary to support our field teams in responding to Emergencies and Disasters. Travel will be required during the project initiation phase. 3 years of fulltime work experience related to Emergency Preparedness and Response projects is strongly preferred.Key ResponsibilitiesAccountabilitiesWill perform tasks primarily associated with Cost Management and Control. Will be familiar with basic data structure concepts and reportinggraphical visualization tools.Perform Daily WeeklyMonthly creationupdating of Project Cost Reports as required by contractPerform periodic project job site audits surveillances etc. as required.Perform reconciliation of budget vs. actual variances produce detailed variance analysis.SupportProduce Client Invoicing per the contract.
