The Opportunity

You will work closely with project leadership and field operations to connect production performance with cost performance, giving the team a clear picture of where the job stands and where risks are emerging. For someone who wants daily involvement with operations, visibility with leadership, and the chance to influence outcomes on a landmark infrastructure project, this role offers that opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Lead job cost tracking and field cost control for the I-81 Viaduct Project Phase 2, Contract 6, ensuring project costs are captured accurately and reported in a timely, decision-ready format.

  • Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, budget-to-actual analysis, and project performance reporting for leadership.
  • Track committed costs, support change management, and maintain reliable forecasting so project leaders can see current position and projected financial outcomes.
  • Use HCSS HeavyJob and Vista to strengthen cost accuracy, reporting discipline, and alignment between field operations and accounting.

What Success Looks Like

In the first 6 to 12 months, success in this role will include:

  • Establishing reliable cost reporting that gives the team a clear, timely view of current performance and forecasted results.
  • Improving alignment between field production, installed quantities, labor and equipment costs, and accounting data.
  • Identifying budget variances and cost trends early enough for leadership to take corrective action.
  • Becoming a trusted partner to operations and project leadership by turning field and financial data into practical insight.
  • Helping the project team maintain stronger cost discipline across a large, active, and highly visible infrastructure project.

What We're Looking For

  • A detail-oriented, accountable approach and sound judgment in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred qualifications:
