Overview
We are seeking a Project Associate to join our research team, this is a hybrid position. This position supports a variety of research and project management activities, including data coordination, technical writing, and logistics for project implementation. The Project Associate plays a key role in supporting research initiatives, ensuring high-quality documentation, and facilitating collaboration across internal teams and external partners. Occasional travel and flexibility to meet project deadlines may be required.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project files, including recruitment materials, literature reviews, data products, and data sharing agreements
- Perform technical writing and editing for peer-reviewed publications, presentations, grant proposals, reports, and intervention materials
- Conduct research and internet searches to support project needs, including guidelines, reference materials, and logistical planning
- Assist in preparing, compiling, and organizing materials for reports, meetings, and trainings
- Support project file management, ensuring accurate organization and distribution of documents
- Assist with basic qualitative and quantitative data analysis in collaboration with research team members
- Coordinate logistics for data collection and intervention activities, including scheduling, communications, travel, and venue arrangements
- Support participant engagement activities, including consent processes and communication
- Collaborate with project leadership to develop and implement research protocols and ensure consistency across team members
- Assist with cross-training staff on project procedures and protocols
- Travel as needed to support project activities, meetings, and trainings
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social sciences OR Bachelor’s degree with relevant research experience
- Demonstrated experience in research support, project coordination, or related field
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills
- Experience with technical writing and editing preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general research tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $47,320 - $53,945 annual salary. There are several factors taken into consideration in determining base pay, including but not limited to: job-related qualifications, skills, education, experience, local market conditions, and internal equity.
