YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Project Assistant is responsible forproviding project management support to the Project team. This positionmay include generaladministrative support. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:  

  • RecapandtrackPotentialChangeOrders (PCO’s). 

  • Abilitytopriceupmaterialvouchers. 

  • WriteupandkeeptrackofallRequestforInformation(RFI’s). 

  • TrackcertifiedpayrollforRosendinandallsubcontractorsandfilloutallnecessaryformsthejob requires. e.g., HRC forms, OCIP Compliance. 

  • AbilitytoupdateprojectschedulesonMicrosoftProjectsorSureTrack. 

  • Monthlybilling(ScheduleofValues/Coversheet) 

  • Createandupdatematerialflowsheets.e.g.,FixturesandFireAlarmdevices;Subcontract/Change Order logs; Submittal logs. 

  • Abilitytoobtainquotesfromvendorsandsomelightmaterialordering. 

  • Thedutiesandresponsibilitiesareintendedtodescribe thegeneralnatureandscopeofworkbeing performed by this position.This is not acomplete listing and other duties will beassigned basedon the position’s role within the business unit. 

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:  

  • Knowledgeandabilitytoreadblueprints;materialsandpricingusingBiddleBook;project management procedures and working knowledge of scheduling software 

  • Computer,filing,and10-keyskills 

  • Attentiontodetailisnecessary;stronganalyticalskills favored 

  • Strongorganizational,record-keepingandfollow-upskills 

  • Highlevelofdiscretionandinterpersonalskillstohandlesensitiveandconfidentialmattersand documentation 

  • ProficientinusingMicrosoftProjects;Suretrack;OracleandSharePointexperiencepreferred 

  • ProficientinusingacomputerandMicrosoftOffice(Outlook,Word,Excel,etc.);Oraclepreferred

  • Prioritizeandmanagemultipletasks,changingprioritiesasnecessary 

  • Workunderpressureandadapttochangingrequirementswithapositiveattitude 

  • Oralandwrittencommunicationskillsasforthe position 

  • Self-motivated,proactiveandaneffectiveteamplayer 

  •  Interacteffectivelyandprofessionallywithalllevelsofemployees,bothmanagementand staff alike, vendors, clients, and others 

 

WHAT YOU BRING TO US: 

  • AssociatedegreeinBusinessManagement,ConstructionManagement,orrelatedfield 

  • Bachelor’sdegree preferred 

  • Minimum1-2years’projectmanagementsupportexperience,preferablyinaconstruction environment 

  • Experienceinthe constructionindustry 

  • Canbeacombinationofeducation,training,andrelevantexperience

WORKINGCONDITIONS: 

  • Generalworkenvironment-sittingforextended periods, standing,walking,typing,carrying,pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning. 

  • Noiselevelistypically lowtomedium;it canbeloudonajob site. 

  • Occasionalliftingofupto30lbs.
