This role serves as the engineering authority for troubleshooting, modifications, and change approval to ensure equipment consistently supports a safe process and produces high‑quality product. The position works closely with Maintenance, Process Engineering, and Operations to resolve issues, implement improvements, and align equipment capability with current and future process requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesEquipment Performance & ReliabilityEnsure equipment operates safely, reliably, and meets quality and production requirementsMonitor performance and drive improvements in uptime, consistency, and outputTroubleshooting & Root Cause AnalysisLead investigation of equipment and process issuesIdentify root causes and implement corrective actions that prevent recurrenceChange Control & Technical ApprovalReview and approve all equipment modifications, repairs, and upgradesEvaluate impact to safety, quality, process stability, and reliabilityEnsure changes are validated prior to full implementationMaintenance & Technical SupportSupport maintenance teams with troubleshooting and technical decisionsEvaluate and approve alternative parts, repairs, or solutionsProcess SupportPartner with Process Engineers to ensure equipment performs required functionsDetermine if issues are due to process changes or equipment limitationsRestore or adapt equipment to meet process needsEquipment Improvement & DesignIdentify and implement modifications to improve performance and capabilityDesign and develop in‑house solutions or work with OEMs as neededSupport capital equipment upgrades and new installationsRequirementsBachelor degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related)5+ years' experience in manufacturing, equipment engineering, or maintenance engineeringStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsExperience with production equipment, systems, and process integrationPay TransparencyThe current pay for this position is between $90K–$130K/year. Rate of pay will depend on factors such as market conditions and location, job‑related knowledge and skills, education, training and experience. If hired, employment will be at will.
