We have a new opportunity for an Engineering Project Administrator to join our Systems Engineering team in Englewood, CO.


The Engineering Project Administrator is responsible for controlling, releasing, and maintaining engineering records throughout their lifecycle. This role supports the engineering team by ensuring that drawings, specifications, and other technical documents are accurate, properly configured, and released in accordance with company procedures and applicable standards. The specialist will work closely with engineering, program management, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure that the correct, released data is available to all stakeholders.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


+ Support engineers in preparing, formatting, and submitting documents for review and release.

+ Coordinate and process the release, revision, and obsolescence of engineering records (e.g., drawings, models, BOMs, specifications, ECOs/ECNs) for the engineering team.

+ Maintain engineering data within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Product Data Management (PDM) systems, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and traceability.

+ Track and manage change requests and engineering change orders, ensuring timely routing, approvals, and implementation.

+ Support the program change management process by scheduling and facilitating review board meetings.

+ Assist in delivery of documentation to the customer and maintain data delivery logs.

+ Provide user support and training for PLM/PDM and document control processes, tools, and best practices.

+ Prepare reports and metrics related to document status, change activity, and data quality as requested by management.

+ Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and evidence of data control.

+ Identify opportunities to improve data management processes and participate in process and tool improvement initiatives.

Job Qualifications:


+ Typically requires a bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related discipline and six or more years of progressive professional project administration experience. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education.

+ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment.

+ Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across engineering, manufacturing, and other functions.

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing and entering technical data.

+ Experience in engineering document control, configuration management, or product data management in a technical or manufacturing environment.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

+ Working knowledge of Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence, JIRA) and PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill, SolidWorks PDM, or similar).

+ Familiarity with engineering drawings, models, and BOMs, including basic understanding of revisions and change control.

+ Ability to read and interpret engineering documentation (drawings, part lists, specifications) at a basic level.

+ Must be customer focused and able to work on a self-initiated basis or in a team environment and able to work extended hours and travel as required.

+ Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a DoD TS//SCI security clearance.
