Experience: Mid LevelSalary: $75,000 - $90,000 per yearJob Details We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Accountant with hands‑on experience in Sage 300/Timberline, TimberScan, and Procore. This role focuses on construction accounting functions including accounts payable processing, preliminary notices and lien releases, contract compliance, and accounts receivable using AIA billing documentation.Key Responsibilities Process accounts payable, including preliminary notices, lien releases, and subcontractor compliance tracking.Manage accounts receivable and prepare/submit AIA Owner Billings (G702/G703).Maintain accurate project cost records and ensure proper job cost allocations.Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to support project financial operations.Monitor contract compliance, insurance requirements, and project documentation.Support sales tax exemption procedures, particularly for tribal projects, when applicable.Support sales tax material reporting for district tax, when applicable.Education/Requirements Minimum of 5 years of Construction Accounting experience in a general contractor or subcontractor environment.Strong hands‑on experience with Sage 300/Timberline, TimberScan, and Procore.Experience preparing and processing AIA Owner Billings G702/G703.Knowledge of subcontractor compliance requirements, lien waivers, and preliminary notices.Experience with tribal projects and understanding of sales tax exemption processes is highly preferred.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with subcontractors, clients, and coworkers.A bit about us Based in Sacramento, CA we are an Industry Leading General Contractor, revolutionizing the Property & Construction space!
