We're seeking a detail-oriented Project Accountant to join a growing engineering and manufacturing organization supporting large-scale industrial and data center projects. This role serves as a key financial partner to Project Managers and Operations, providing project financial oversight from project initiation through closeout.If you enjoy working in a collaborative, project-driven environment where your financial expertise directly impacts project success, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Do Partner with Project Managers to monitor project financial performance and profitability.Track project costs, budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete estimates.Support percentage-of-completion (POC) revenue recognition and Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting.Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly project financial reports.Assist with month-end close, reconciliations, and project accounting activities.Review project budgets, actual costs, change orders, and forecasting to identify financial risks and opportunities.Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and financial controls.Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, and Project Management teams to support successful project execution.Participate in process improvement initiatives and ad hoc financial analysis.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.3+ years of Project Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Project Financial Analysis experience.Experience with project/job costing, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting.Knowledge of WIP reporting, percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting, and revenue recognition is preferred.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Vista, Epicor, Dynamics, or similar.Preferred Industry Experience ConstructionManufacturingEPCMechanical or Electrical ContractingWhy Join Us?
