Responsibilities:

Overview 

We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Program Support Specialist to provide business, financial, and administrative support for aviation safety programs within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This position plays a key role in supporting program planning, coordination, and execution—helping ensure the successful delivery of FAA initiatives that enhance the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System (NAS). 

The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills to a dynamic environment supporting FAA stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership. 

Required Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities 

  • Analyze program and project requirements to provide effective business, financial, and acquisition management support. 
  • Support program scheduling, coordination, and logistics, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are tracked and met. 
  • Assist with budget tracking, cost control, and financial reporting, supporting management in maintaining program compliance with contract and FAA requirements. 
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and correspondence summarizing program performance and key milestones for FAA leadership. 
  • Coordinate and support meetings, workshops, and outreach activities, including logistics, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. 
  • Serve as a primary point of contact with the FAA Task Manager on administrative, technical, and programmatic issues. 
  • Provide on-site program support as needed, including maintaining records, schedules, and project documentation. 
  • Support government/industry collaboration and outreach initiatives that advance FAA’s aviation safety mission. 
  • Perform additional program, analytical, or management support activities as required for task order success. 

 

 

Required Qualifications 

  • U.S. citizen or green card permanent resident (3+ years U.S. residency) 
  • Experience with FAA and the environment.

 

  • Education and Experience: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field and 2+ years of relevant program or project support experience; or 
  • High school diploma and 5+ years of experience performing the above duties. 
  • Demonstrated experience providing administrative, analytical, or financial management support for complex technical programs. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and program tracking tools. 
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment supporting multiple priorities. 

 

 

D.C. Salary Range: $86,800 - $135,625

 

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting FAA or other federal government programs. 
  • Familiarity with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) processes and documentation standards. 
  • Experience in aviation, transportation, or safety-related program environments.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.


Posted Salary Range: USD $86,800.00 - USD $135,625.00 /Yr.
