Program Support Specialist

About the Role:

The Program Support Specialist serves as a critical operational support role, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of program activities, front desk operations, and facility coordination. This position is often the first point of contact for families, staff, and visitors, providing high-quality customer service while supporting administrative, logistical, and compliance-related tasks.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What this Role involves:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, families, and staff, providing excellent customer service
  • Manage front desk operations, including phone calls, visitor access, and general inquiries
  • Support program operations by coordinating supplies, materials, and staff requests
  • Maintain inventory and order office and classroom supplies
  • Assist with data entry, attendance tracking, and document management
  • Coordinate room scheduling, meetings, and events
  • Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Support facility upkeep and submit maintenance or IT requests as needed
  • Assist with safety procedures, including drills and emergency protocols
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to program staff
  • Provide classroom support by assisting teachers and supporting student learning

What we are looking for:

Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:

  • 2+ years of administrative, customer service, or program support experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams) and general office systems
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed

Compensation:

$24.00- $27.00 per hour
