Supervise post-award and GCF spending and activities for the Biomedical Sciences Department in the School of Medicine. Will inlcude the Translational Hearing Center's CoBRe award, and the Bellucci Foundation donation and endowment funds.
Key Responsibilities
- Track post-award spending and activities and review reconciliations for the Department of Biomedical Sciences' federal, state, and GCF funds.
- Review Purchase card (P-card) transactions and purchase orders for compliance with applicable grant and contract terms internal policies and procedures.
- Provide monthly reports to faculty and manage departmental capital equipment.
- Manage and resolve departmental and grant encumbrances.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related area required.
- 6 years' related experience.
- Supervisory experience required.
Skills
- Foundations of grants management and accounting.
- Knowledge of departmental capital equipment/fixed assets.
- Program coordination and project management including organizing departmental seminars and meetings, coordinating Chair's schedule, updating department website.
- Excellent analytical skills, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
